Wedding crafting

I can't believe it, but our wedding is about a month away! Since I haven't really talked about it at all on blog, I figured I would share with you a bunch of the more aesthetic parts of the planning.

We found a venue (the reception place is across the street from this lake),

picked autumn colors for the flowers,

found a dress that flattered the three bridesmaids (in "blueberry"),

figured out what the groomsmen will wear (blue shirts that match the bridesmaids' dresses with black ties and no jackets)

figured out what the groom will wear (the same blue shirt with an ivory tie to match my dress and a vest)

sent the invites (I really can't recommend Stelie Designs enough. She was amazing to work with and I love love the final product.)


and now, I'm getting into the "arts and crafts" portion of my to-do list:
programs, placecards, guestbook cards, etc.


If I have enough time and motivation, there may even be traveling art kits for the kids who are attending, but we'll just have to see how it goes.
