A bunch of friends went to another friend's family's commercial apple farm yesterday. It's right along Lake Ontario and my friend's dad is so welcoming. He takes the time to show us around and teach us about the apples.
The weather was beautiful and it was a perfect opportunity to take photos. I'm probably posting too many, but I really like these ones and hope you do too!
we are so glad that the weather here in NY has finally changed so we can pick apples in cool weather. somehow doing it when it is so warm seems wrong!!! i love the pictures you got. you two look so cute together
Making things feels like the summers I spent at my Grandma's house where I first learned to sew, knit and embroider. I truly enjoy your comments and feedback... so feel free to leave a comment, even if it's just to say "hi"! If you prefer, email me at summeratgrandmashouse [at] gmail [dot] com More...
You must have been out by me the other day! We're going picking next weekend (fingers crossed!)

ReplyDeleteIt was a good weekend for apple orchards, huh? :)
ReplyDeleteI love the picture of the crates! The words going at an angle to the picture is very eye catching.
